The Springfield Liedertafel was organized and incorporated in 1888. The express purpose of the club was then, as now, to provide a social outlet for members and the continuance of German choral music. Membership is not restricted by race, color, creed or national origin. And members are not required to participate in choral activities. Application for membership is encouraged. The Springfield Liedertafel offers many benefits to members willing to help keep the club a vibrant and effective organization.
